If corporate leaders were elected – who would their constituencies be? The public? The people working at the organization? The shareholders? Customers?

If two or more people were running to be the leader of an organization, how would each of the constituencies vote? What criteria would they use to cast their ballot?

If you could vote for your boss from among a number of individuals, let’s say, what would you base your vote upon?

(This post is inspired by the recent report of French President Nicolas Sarkozy‘s recent gaff which reporters say will follow him to the next election.)
